Create an invoice with a QR code
Your client scans the code with their banking app and the transfer is filled in: IBAN, name, amount and invoice number. Spoonbill puts it beside your payment details, on the PDF and on the invoice’s page.
- Scan, don’t type
- For euro invoices

From writing to scanning
Your IBAN, once
Enter your IBAN and account holder. From then on the QR code is on; there is nothing else to do.
The code sits beside the amount
Every euro invoice gets its own code, with the amount and the invoice number.
Scan, check, approve
The banking app fills in the transfer and your client approves it. If part is already paid, the code on the page asks only for the rest.

Frequently asked questions
Does the QR code cost extra?
It is part of Pro. While it is on, every euro invoice carries the code.
Can every banking app read the code?
Banks do not have to support it. That is why the IBAN, amount and payment reference are always printed readably beside it.
What happens with an invoice in another currency?
It goes out without a code, and Spoonbill tells you why before you send. You can still send it.
Can I turn the code off?
Yes, with a switch in the payment settings.
Your next invoice, ready to scan.
Enter your IBAN — Spoonbill puts the QR code beside it.
